INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATE


About Question Paper:


The Question Paper will consist of 4 subjects (sections) as follows:

  1. Candidate failing to obtain 50% marks in each of the above subjects (Sections) shall not be eligible for recruitment.
  2. Only one question will be displayed on the computer screen at a time.
  3. Questions are displayed in 2 languages i.e. English & Hindi except for General Hindi subject, which will be displayed in Hindi only.
  4. Each Question will have 4 responses/answers and the Candidate will have to select only the correct response/answer.
  5. Candidates are allowed to use only mouse during the examination.
  6. There will be 2.5 marks for each question which will be displayed at the top right hand corner of each question.
  7. If any candidate has any doubt about any specific word or terminology or sentence used then he/she should refer to the content mentioned in English language which would be final.
  8. Candidates can attempt question in any sequence by clicking on the question number in the Section wise Summary Report reflecting on the left- hand side of the page.
  9. The exam screen will continuously display the remaining time at the top right hand corner of the question paper.
  10. The candidates may ask the Invigilator their doubts or questions before the commencement of test. No queries shall be entertained after the commencement of the examination.
  11. Additional rough Sheet (if required) shall be provided to the candidates for rough work during the test. The rough sheet needs to be returned to the Invigilator before leaving the test venue.

 

About Answering Questions:

  1. In order to answer a question, you have to 'Click' the option you think is appropriate/ correct. The alternative which has been clicked on will be highlighted and shall be treated as the answer chosen by you for the question.
  2. If you do not wish to attempt the question then you should not click on any option for that question and may click 'Next'.
  3. You can 'Bookmark' questions to review before submitting.
  4. You can navigate between questions either by clicking on 'Previous/Next' or by directly clicking on the question numbers which are displayed as attempted/ un-attempted/bookmarked in the Section wise Summary Report

 

About Preview and Submission:

  1. The answers are saved whenever the candidate navigates e.g. by clicking on Next/ Previous button
  2. The candidates can make changes in their choice of alternative only before clicking the "Submit" button.
  3. If the candidate wishes to submit the test he/she has to click on the "Done" button.
  4. "Done" button will appear only after 117 minutes have elapsed from the start time of exam.
  5. On clicking "Done", there will be three warning screens displayed namely Warning 1, Warning 2 & Final Warning.
  6. In case the candidate wants to return to the question paper, he/she can click on "Go to Test" otherwise he/she can click on "Finish" to submit the paper.
  7. After the expiry of 120 minutes the candidates will not be able to attempt any question or check their answers. The answers of the candidate would be saved automatically by the computer system even if he/she has not clicked the "Finish" button.
  8. After submitting the answered question paper a "Thank You" message will appear on the screen.

 

Candidate can be debarred /disqualified by the Center-In-Charge for any of the following reasons:

  1. Creating a disturbance, distracting the proceeding of the examination activity.
  2. Impersonate - Attempting to take the examination for someone else.
  3. Giving or receiving assistance of any kind during the examination & communication in any form between candidates or with outsiders or gesticulation or disturbance or attempt to change seat / question paper in the examination hall
  4. Attempting to tamper with the operation of the computer or meddling with system.
  5. Leaving the test center without the permission from the invigilator.
  6. Using prohibited aids, item not allowed, such as: Calculators, Cell Phones, Pieces of Paper, Electronic Diaries, Watch alarm, listening device, recording or photographicdevices, or any other unauthorized device.
  7. Attempting to remove examination question and /or examination responses (in any format) from the examination center.
  8. Failing to follow instructions of invigilator or test center staff.
  9. Manhandling of invigilators or test center staff.
  10. Any suspicious act by the candidate which, as per the opinion of the Board observer, has created an impression of unfairness during the examination
  11. Resorting to unfair means or trying to influence any person duly authorized to conduct the examination, in any way for examination results shall be considered as a serious offence. The candidate shall be liable to have his/her name removed from the list of candidates for the examination and may also be further dealt with in such manner as Board may deem fit.
  12. The Board's Observer of the Examination Centre is authorized to dismiss the candidate/s from the examination center for any misconduct by the candidates and the decision will be final and binding.

I have read and understood the instructions. All Computer Hardware allotted to me are in proper working condition. I agree that I am not carrying any prohibited gadget like mobile phone etc./any prohibited material with me into the exam hall. I agree that in case of not adhering to the instructions, I will be disqualified from taking the exam.
